Finally put the 13.5 ac to the test. In Vegas today. 108 degrees here. Single unit is struggling some. Still over 100 now at 8 pm.

Are you referring to a 13.5 BTU AC unit? Rooftop? Mini-Split?

Rooftop. 11:00 here now, 102 outside. AC catching up after all day heatsoak in tt driving here. First time it had to really work. Been in 102 during the day in AZ couple of times and it did ok then. Like Cliff says, when it hits 116 out by his place, it separates the men from the boys.

It was over 100 in Montana for 3 days! Can't go into Canada. Think I'll hide here in Ga for a bit!

We had a high in the mid 70s today here in SE Wisconsin. Come join us here. Might be in the low 90s this weekend, and then cooler again.

When we were in Albuquerque, it hit 106, but today it's 84. Today in Vegas area it was 102. Think the heat is following us. We were coming back from Hoover dam tour today and took a road up into a sort of park outside Boulder city. It was up pretty high. Stopped to view the valley and watched a dust storm envelop the valley. Neat to see it moving down the valley at slow speed. It blocked everything out in its path.Lasted about 1/2 hour. Glad we were up there.

Was it Hemminway park, with the herd of wild big horn sheep, munching the grass? Van lives near there...
