I am trying to locate the part number and a source for a tag axle brake drum. My supplier that I use is having a bit of an issue finding me one. Any help would be appreciated.
TIA

There should be number on the drum, now you ask since I just put the tires back on the tag on a MCI 9 that had new Webb drums 8) If you don't get help I will remove 1 wheel and get the number for you

Got them off already?
We have a number off the drum that needs to be replaced but it comes up as obsolete when we have used it. That is the reason for this post. We even crossed it to several other numbers however they also showed as obsolete.
I didn't write it down but will get it tomorrow and post it here.
Thanks.

I'll find out tommorow where we got the last set, let ya know ;)
I have the front drums off and thought maybe they were the same as the tag but they are not maybe the same size but has a lot more cooling holes than the tag does

Call Luke?
Prevost usually has the best price on MCI drums
Call Luke, the best answer yet!
US Coach- Vineland, New Jersey
Mel try this Webb number 64004 may have a B too,my local NAPA can get the drums Steve said @173.00 ea
The casting numbers on the drum I took off are
3412R
2242
The best we can tell. They were buried under years of rust.
I passed along the Webb number to my supplier and he is following that up.
Do you have the NAPA number??
Thanks for the help. I have not called Luke yet but that is always an option however I don't like the thought of paying for the shipping when I am sure something is closer.

The 64004B is the current drum that one will work for you and not hard to find NAPA has the same number
Thank You Clifford

Thanks for all the help on this.
I got one today at NAPA for just shy of 300.00 including tax.
Just need to get the shoes lined and put it back together.

Your local NAPA didn't cut you much lack did they,I ordered 2 drums today and friggn shipping was $275.00
Inland Truck Parts found me one for 375 in Alabama PLUS SHIPPING.
I am not complaining. 266 plus my states highway robbery.
Just part of the fun.

Doesn't do any good to complain they have you, what i don't understand is you can buy the larger Webb drums like the 16x8 for trucks for $135.00 all day long
I think that demand has more to do with it. Like a 30 gallon water heater is sometimes more expensive than a 40 gallon. People just don't buy as many. They still want them but Boutique items are more expensive because of the less demand.

That plus the "Q" brakes where just for buses so they just don't cast the drums anylonger same with the "S" cams, lol time marches on at a price,Revco or Webb are not casting that drum any more I was told by both
