Title: NEED HELP MCI 96A3

Hey I have a 1985 MCI 96A3 bus and its already converted, right now all my electric on the bus is running off a 7000 watt generator with no inverter and I want upgrade it too a 3000w victron inverter but in don't now were to start! should I get a 24v victron or 12v? should I get a battery bank and if so how many? Should I hook the inverter up to my bus charging system? I'm lost and need help!! I can upload pictures if possible! Thanks in advance

Good evening!  Do you have a set of house batteries you are working with?  If so, have you decided which type of batteries you will use, and how many?  There's usually a sizing exercise to work through, depending on load and hours you want to last before charging.  Solar can also extend the runtime of the battery bank.

There are others on the forum with a lot more experience in this area so hopefully they will jump in.
