Title: MCI window screens
Post by: Jsrcaptain on May 02, 2021, 05:09:34 AM
I'm looking for ideas for screens on the stock side windows. I'd like to keep the original windows. Maybe a sliding inside screen??

Thanks

I'm not familiar with the MCI window trim,, but in the olden days, we would take the outside window trimmers off a GMC and attach the screen to the inner side.. Then reinstall the trimmer for a nice looking screen system..>>>Dan

We did that on our former 4104 also.

Using black screen it would give you a clean "limo" look..>>>Dan

Here's a photo of screens we made for our 4104.
Screen is on a stretch frame then sandwiched & glued between two 1/8" tempered hardboard frames contoured to fit front & back large slider windows. Unit sits in same track as slider then closes tight to it.
Works great. Three motorized 14x14 roof vent fans make the screens flow.
