Hi, I'm new to the forum, but not new to the lifestyle. We have owned a 78 wanderlodge for 20 years, so I am familiar with the systems and maintenance required to keep these old girls on the road.
We are currently looking at a 74 MC8 converted in 98.
Is anyone familiar with Heartland Works in Arcadia Fl.? I can't find info on them and I am interested in knowing a bit more about them if anyone here has knowledge to share.
Thanks in advance and I hope to be an active member.
We have some members from that area..Hope they see this . Scott&Heather for one have a close contact there. Did you research the name?
Thanks for the reply.
I have researched the name and also coach builders in the area. Only place in the area is Rodney Daniels. The coach was converted in 98, so I thought maybe Heartland became Rodney Daniels but there isn't indication that I can find. I can't find them on Florida division of corporations.
I am hoping someone will remember them.
Back then, there were many small builders/converters.
Very few today.
Check with the old FL locals, they'll know.
Happy coaching!

I have a heartland coach. From what I know they went bankrupt in the 90's and reopened as horizon coach.

Hartland was owned by Walker there are lots on here about him.

Thanks for the replies, I will look into these names.
You'll find PLENTY on Walker! But from what I have heard the work Walker's people actually did was pretty good. What got Walker in trouble and a nasty reputation is taking folks $ and never producing a finished coach! I have actually seen and heard of some quality work from them on occasion.
Some of the old timers on hear would know more about Heartland than I do.
;D BK ;D
He did good work when he preformed .we have friends that own a Walker conversion and they love the guy.lol the ways courts are now nothing would have happen to him
