Ok friends, I might have made a HUGE BLUNDER when we started gutting our bus! In the excitement of getting things torn apart, I removed the original entry staircase to the bus where the VIN tag was located and do not have it anymore. I have heard that there is another location that VIN is. If so does anyone know where to point that I can start looking?! Trying to get the bus titled and because we bought it out of state, I have to have a IDOD inspection and they need to verify the VIN. Thank for any help you can provide!
Open the outside compartment below the driver's seat should be stamped in the chassis near the steering box.
Also in the rear up above the engine compartment in the radiator/fan area. Not sure exactly on a "C" but on the "A"s it was on the framing above the blowers where the overflow tank mounted.

See how easy that was. All you needed was to be on the correct forum. The GMC's as I
indicated on the other forum I know about and they have their VIN located very much like
the MCI under the driver in the compartment there, (on GMC's), and on the frame in the same
location on MCI (no compartment). I also knew about the rear engine area but wasn't 100%
sure of exactly where, up high was all I remembered. Inside the blower compartment sounds right.
