Title: Need a 1982 MCI9-6V92 Engine Parts Manual
Post by: mcidave on January 27, 2021, 11:36:30 PM
Does anyone know where I can find a 1982 MCI9 Crusader II, Parts Manual for the 6V92 Engine and Engine Compartment hoses?
You see my mechanic has had a major stroke and parts are missing to reinstall the Engine/tranny.
If I could get a schematic that shows realted parts, I think I could use the pictures to order the right part #'s to finish.

Thanks for any help.
David

Hello David, I have a parts manual dated 9-1-90 for my '80 MC9, I can scan and send you pages if you want.
Attached is the index of the 6V92 section.
I don't see any pictures or schematics with the engine assembly complete, I mean there's numerous pages with individual assemblies.
Maybe you need a repair manual?

David, I sent you an email, I think lvmci was referring to the cd you can get from BCM, go to the top and click on BCM, in the main page menu bar you should see "Bus Manuals". Hope this helps.

First time I'd seen any mention of that.

So here's a question, about the 102D series manuals from BCM:

Are the schematics and diagrams untrimmed?

From other sources, including MCI online, the schematics are cut off. So there is no way to follow a wire from one page to the next. Makes them pretty useless. $225 is way too much to pay unless they contain the full, untrimmed schematics.

However if they do, then I don't mind supporting BCM even though I'm a tightwad and don't want to spend that much.
