I'm trying to find my grandfather's 4104 conversion and hoped someone had run across a 4104 that my grandfather built with my dad in Salem Oregon in the 70's and it was sold to someone in the Salem/Keizer area in the early 80's. Some distinguishing things I remember were metallic green roof and accent stripe, tub instead of a shower, central vac, tinted blister style window but can't remember where, twin beds, avocado green seashell sink, lighting 12v on one side 120v the other side, and white upholstered ceiling. I've looked for pictures or any other information and haven't been able to find anything. Dad said the buyer called the day after he bought it and parked it on his newly paved parking area because it wouldn't move. It had sunk to the axle. If that sounds familiar to anyone. My dad and grandfather are both gone now and it would be great to have the bus back in the family if it's still around.
They did a total of four conversions including a buffalo with an early Honda that was cut down to fit into the baggage compartment so the customer could haul his boat.
If you knew the coach number. PD-4104-xxxx it would help. You might find it on the survivor list on this board.
