Post by: Slide on October 02, 2020, 11:50:21 AM
Does anyone out there have a supply of Marker and Stop lights?

Are these standard lights like those from Cats-Eye, etc.? If so, I've had good luck finding them online and on eBay. Which ones are you looking for?

It would be good to  also ask on the Eagle forums.

Check eBay using different search words, sometimes Silver Eagle brings things up, or Eagle Bus, it all depends on the words used in the listing. Seller chrisbus in California has several new lenses and light assemblies right now. Goodson Bus sells them too, but their prices are higher. International Bus Parts in Apopka, FL, may have some still. The other way is to get some off salvage buses, but the plastic gets faded and fragile over time.

Thanks for the input. Gooson website comes up but their phone is no longer in service. For now I'll use a used base I have as parts, you are right the plastic gets real brittle.

Goodson Bus Sales LLC, in Maiden, NC is still there at (828) 428-4102. The eBay items sold by chrisbus are still there, but not nearly as many as he had a few weeks ago. His parts came from Jefferson Bus & Truck in Oklahoma City, so they are good.

Currently, he has the red brake light assembly (eBay #392908049618), and the amber marker assembly (eBay #392908058362), so do not dilly-dally if these are items you need. He did have all of the lights on the Eagle, but they have been snatched up. He will not be getting any more as these were spares for an Eagle that he sold.
