Title: Chris Newton (Facebook parts seller)
Post by: benherman1 on September 04, 2020, 07:20:30 PM
Anyone bought parts from him before? I just cam across his posts, sent him a message about all the body and trim stuff I need and he said he will check out what he can find for me tomorrow. All the stuff looked good in his ads. What should I expect for prices?

To make things more excited he is only an hour and a half away so I can go see everything in person and not pay shipping

He seems legit but my own dealings with him were a waste of time. Back and forth on price, then back and forth on shipping, then basically left me figuring out shipping but then said he knew of shipment going west. By that time - thanks but no thanks. Since you are close, just make sure you get details pics and highest price you want to pay. Go there, if it's what you are looking for, start negotiating. Good luck

Chris is ok he will bargain with you and always looking for busnuts to transport parts for a little fuel money, lol when you wait a couple of days to make a decision you may need to remind him of the price he quoted you before, other than that he has been good to deal with,he is a bus owner too selling used parts

No problems with my few dealings with him. I just don't like all the back and forth messengering. Just post the price and be done with it. I would deal with him again

I figured I ought to update my post after I stopped by his place. He gave me a great deal on everything I needed that he had available. He also gave me some extras that were in rough shape I can grab parts off of. Pics are the before an after installing the window he sold me.
