I have had Harvest Hosts for a while now and used it a few times. Opens up new possibilities for dry camping, some quite interesting. My favorite so far was the tiny air museum at the Poplar Grove air strip in Belvadere IL.
We have because we like wineries and farms lot of Country Coach owners use it,we used it 11 times on the trip and some wineries had hook ups for free ? what is FMCA price it cost $30.00 for the 1st time then $25.00 per year,Some places you deal with mud ,rain and tight spaces so check it out before driving 10 miles down a unimproved road that happen to me once !!
normally, 75 dollars a year. 65 thru fmca till midnight. unlimited stays for one night at a time. A few have electric which would be charged for running generator varies with location. check before hand. hosts would like for you to purchase something there, but might not be mandatory. 1200+ locations. wineries, farms, museums, etc.
BCM has a 15% off coupon code for Harvest Hosts and Boondockers Welcome. It was run in the last few digital magazine issues. It is in the service directory. ;)
I have used Harvest Hosts a few times in the last two months, as my Skoolie family and I are traveling. So far we have made it from Portland, Oregon to Portland, Maine.
I love after a long day of traveling, pulling up to a brewery or winery and knowing they will have food and drinks.
Always call ahead! :^
The spots at Harvest Hosts are first come first serve. But, also the times we have stopped there has been no one else in the spots.
I am a memember but have not used it yet because of COVID, but if you use our Coupon Code, it will help to support the Forum instead of the Big Pants FMCA. ;D
Use Code: BCM for 15% off Annual Membership
Same with Boondockers Welcome.
