Title: VIN location
Post by: Jim Blackwood on August 10, 2020, 02:59:27 PM
On the MCI 102DL3 where is the vin number stamped? Is it up in the windshield? On a tag somewhere?

Also I know it became a practice with a lot of vehicles to stamp it in the frame somewhere. Did they do this and if so where did they stamp it?

There should be at least two locations I think.  I read one standard place is on the wall just above and behind the driver's position.  Could be inside the luggage bin.  Also there might be one in the engine compartment, above the engine, centered left to right?

I will try to find it on mine next time I'm out there.

In the stair well on the left wall.

There is a tag between the radiator and charge air cooler there was on mine beside the one in stair way on the left side as you entered

In the stairwell.  I didn't look too hard for any others.

Stairwell, right I'd forgotten. I also found the one in the engine compartment, same kind of tag on the right side up  top  facing down.
