Title: DDEC II fast idle resistors?
Post by: Iceni John on August 08, 2020, 06:17:43 PM
Does anyone here know the ohms of the resistor(s) that DDEC II uses to bump the revs up to about 1100 RPM for fast idle?   I need to replace my resistors (why does my bus use two?) because their leads have corroded, but their color bands have worn off and my DDEC schematic doesn't clearly show their ohm values.   I also have a Kenworth/Peterbilt DDEC II schematic, but that doesn't show their ohms either.

Thanks, John

Attached are the tables to calculate the desired RPM on fast idle

Bill, thank you SO MUCH!   That's exactly what I was looking for.
Just out of curiosity, from what manual are those three pages?

John
They are in the DDECII Application and Installation manual.
