Title: Shurflo parts
Post by: Jim Blackwood on August 05, 2020, 10:25:58 AM
Anybody have a motor drive base for a shurflo 2088 that they don't need? It's the black phenolic piece between the motor and the pump, I'm sure that almost never goes bad. My new pump was dropped and broke that part. Long story, cheap price, it was in the picture if  you looked close enough so I'm stuck with it.

Yeah, maybe. I'll keep looking for that part. You can buy just the diaphragm, or the 3 part assembly for $30 but for that I might as well buy a used pump for $40. Since it's a part that in normal use would not break I was sort of hoping somebody might have a bad pump they had partly cannibalized for parts laying around and might be willing to part with this piece.

Jim I thought I might have had what you needed but don't appear to be exactly the same - different model Shurflo.

Thanks, I do appreciate you looking. This one is much shorter though. Maybe about 5/8". Guess I'll be the guy storing the spare parts though since mine has the least likely part broken. Probably should just re-order the last one I bought and keep the spares in a box somewhere so I can't find them next time I need them.
