Title: Servicing A 4060 Allision Can Cost
Post by: luvrbus on August 04, 2020, 07:00:01 AM
I had my Allison serviced at Williams, for filters and the TranSynd with some reprogramming  for the Jakes to work in 5th gear to prevent the drop to 4th I had Williams do it since my Allision subscription has lapsed and I didn't want to pay $900.00 to renew they charged me over $1400.00 for the service lol I should have paid the $900.00,this modern stuff is nice but sure exspensive when a Detroit dealer does it

just curious Clifford. What does $900 sub get you? And thanks for the reminders the newer coaches require more service from shops with the proper/special equipment. Important to remember when making choices on old or new tech buses.
