Title: 2007 MCI Entry Door Sensor/Switch
Post by: Haney on June 30, 2020, 01:29:38 PM
I have a 2007 MCI J4500 bus conversion.  On the last trip, I got the ENT DOOR warning light and now the door air latches will not engage.  Door will come open with any speed and the air noise is awful. I have searched the net over and can not find any information except that it could be a fuse or door closed switch.   Can anyone help me with this issue?  Is it a prox switch in the jamb?  What does it look like?  How do I test?  Is there a fuse?

Thanks, in advance.

By "cut all power" luvrbus means just that, not just the battery switch.

There are numerous circuits that bypass the battery switch, disconnect the batteries to be sure of a proper re-boot of the computers.

Happy coaching!
