With all that has been going on ,I have just about given upon the Prevost ,so the other day I went out and fired it up Let it run on fast idle until it came up to temperature .I was piddling around on the out side while this was happening .I went back into the coach and it sounded lake a 12 inch gas main had erupted under the drivers seat .Got to feeling around to find the leak and determined that all that hissing sound was coming from a 1/4"hose that is split wide open.It is going into the back of a control that has two buttons on it .Where this thing is ,it is impossible to get to it (on ds) so here is my question.What do I need to do to replace this hose? Try to remove the control ? Remove the seat ? or is there another way to do this? Since I can't even get to where I can see the control .I am going by feel and don't want to risk screwing up a bunch of other stuff trying to get this fixed !! Help Please?

I took a peek at your past posts and since you have an 8v92, I would say your bus is newer than mine.
I would say heck yeah, just tear into it. My captains chair was frozen in place, but hey some previous owner installed a 10 3/4 seat onto a 11 inch mount.

Hey big, the cheap plastic lines they use become brittle from the the seat going up and down, once couldn't find anything and used a twig to plug the line, the line terminates in the COMPARTMENT below, just fish a new line with extra slack to the quick connect and pull it out from under the seat to reconnect then stuff it back under the seat away from any moving parts - HTH
Fred: My bus is a 1993 Prevost Titled as a 1994 Country Coach . Niles:I can testify here and now that a twig is not going to plug this line!! This thing amazed me at the pressure on this little hose !!! I have used the twig repair before also,but there is no way a twig is going to plug this hose unless I could get a clamp on it.

Stick a small bolt in it and clamp it.

On my Country Coach there was no way to replace the air line without removing the seat to get to the control box and valves when mine blew I just cut it and folded the line with a zip tie around it till I made the repair mine had the same pressure as the chassis 130psi
Just pull the seat. Not that big a deal.
Big, got a kick out of that, yes a branch was what you needed , you must have the air lumbar etc. options for that size line, I wasn't sure if you meant 1/4 ID or OD line, now I know, mine is 1/4 OD but I still have the bellows for the seat and lumbar support, , your lines are overkill, huh?

Hey Cliff : Good to hear from you ! Hope the wife is doing well.I pretty much figured that pulling the seat was going to be the way to go but I have yet to find the two back bolts on that danged seat

They should be directly behind the front bolts, on my bus it was an 11 inch base. Are you trying to remove the floor bolts or the bolts up to the seat from the base?
The bolts are up in slide and the slide has to be in the right position to see and remove the bolts lol as a Country Coach owner I can tell you they did it their way .

I guess it depends on the bus and seat combinations. In my case the driver seat has:
1. Main pedestal
2. Captains chair
Passenger seat has:
1. Main pedestal
2. Swivel
3. Captains chair
It has a pedestal but takes 3 people to remove,CC if he has their seat is bolted and welded at the pedestal I don't think CC ever ordered a Prevost shell with a seat

According to the books ,they shipped the shell with a no frills driver seat then when the conversion was done they had two options for the air ride seat ,One has what looks like a dial then the one I have which is supposed to be the higher option which has two yellow levers toward the back of the seat one raises/lowers the back of the seat and the other one raises/lowers the front of the seat then near the front there is a two button control that these hoses all feed into .I am not sure what this control does as it doesn't seem to work The pedestal seems to be the air bellows and if this thing has a slide ,i ave not found it yet .I found my inspection camera last night and will see what info it disclses if any thing !!!

A guy at CC told me that no frill seat was a 5 gal bucket or a Walmart camping chair ;D CC did some weird stuff but the wood work in those is great mine is solid Cherry.You can call Premier Coach in Oregon and those guys know every inch of that Coach and so does Eric in Tucson lol now I forgot the name of Eric's repair center for CC now it came to me Olstrom Custom Coach in Tucson a heck of nice guy and a expert on the CC and has parts too
Cliff :I did find the slide operator .It was hid below the two seat raise/lower operators .One final question on this .Do you know if seat needs to be raised or lowered to get to these danged bolts as I still ain't found those rear bolts !!!!
