Just for clarification, I have spoken to the owner & the auctioneer. As of last week, it WILL be sold at auction. The owner was not interested in making a deal before the auction

Regarding buying the campground, I'd love to see someone buy it, but it ain't gonna be me. Doubt I could make a living with the debt load I'd incur! Sorry. I do love to visit though!

BTW, I hope some enterprising soul buys the Honeydew Campground (and gets Dallas and Cat in the deal) and promotes the T'ville rally! Mini-Me is considering retirement, while the real me is trying to figure out how to pay for fuel in the bus.... and that sort of project would have a major negative impact on my finances...maybe. Being of a simple mind, I couldn't stand the exposure.
I may, however, consider a big bill, or two, for a timeshare arrangement. I'd be a player for that sort of a deal.
I hope Dallas and Cat find a way to stay put...I've enjoyed my visits to both T'ville get-togethers...look forward to more.
