Title: Overnight in Phoenix AZ with bus.
Post by: lostagain on February 26, 2020, 02:19:25 PM
My wife is flying out of Sky Harbor International on the 3rd March. Any suggestions as to where to overnight with the bus? WM, truck stop? Failing that, a campground not too far?

JC,

You can overnight at my shop if you'd like. I can supply a 120V cord and a garden hose.

I'm in Goodyear, Just south of I-10, 15 miles west of the airport.

Kevin, your offer sounds like the best. Thank you. We met at a Dam rally 4 or 5 years ago. We don't even need electric or water thanks. What is the address of your shop? We should be there Monday the 2nd mid to late afternoon.

JC when you are at Kevin's if you have time ask him where Tony's Mexican food is. It is real close to his place and great Mexican food. Just a hole in the wall but neat and cheap. :)

When in Good Year we go to Raul and Teresa`s restaurant on Lichfield Rd. Good Mexican food.
Have gone there for many many years. When we started going there they had about five tables.
( 40+ years ago) Get the Teresa`s special. Have not been there in a while though.

After 6 weeks of Mexican food, we are looking forward to good old american food, lol.

Although the sea food down here along the East side of the Sea of Cortez is delicious. They really know how to cook it.
