Title: Any body know what this air line goes for
Post by: Rowdy reinsvold on January 07, 2020, 02:26:43 PM
It comes straight out from the compressor and goes to a hard line goin towards the front. I can't hear it sucking vaccum or supplying any air while the system is aired up hope some1 knows what it's for

The air compressor governor.

Controls cut-in and cut-out of the compressor.

Lines leading to it come from air tank.

What is your concern with it?

Happy coaching!

Well I just noticed it was broken in half and I'm having problems with the clutch air assist just wondering if that had something to do with it. Should I be worried about running the bus before I replace it? It's seems to get up to 120 psi n holds there with the bus idling... Its one of many things on this bus that need replaced and it's my first bus just trying to figure things out on it without a repair Manuel can get frustrating it's all new to me

Can you run it?  Sure
Can you DRIVE it? Definitely NOT!

Do not drive any air brake vehicle with leaking or broken air lines, period. It's kinda like changing the brake pedal with a tooth pick.
