Title: Free advice on Crowns, Gilligs, Fords, and more
Post by: patrick young on November 30, 2019, 08:52:18 PM
I've owned about 80 buses and 8 fire trucks and have dismantled about 20+.

I have parts for Crowns, Gilligs, Fords, and some Bluebird/Thomases.

I work on almost anything. I've owned Cummins, CAT, Detroit, IHC, Nissan, Lister-Petter and more diesel engines. Also Mercedes, etc.  I currently own some DD 6V92's, some IHC DT466's, but mostly transmissions (Allisons, Fullers, Spicers, New Process) and diffs (Rockwells)

I do NOT do this for a living.  I am NOT interested in making money except when appropriate.  I do this because I find it interesting.

Thanks

Hello Friend

Nope did not dismantle, nor ever owned any fishbowl style GMC's.  I've only dismantled school buses (and Nissan trucks) mostly Gillig and Crown.  Did a few Waynes, Carpenters, Fords and Ford fire trucks.  I could probably find GMC parts, I have been in truck wrecking yards for many, many years.

All the best,

Patrick
