Got the bus out of the shop today with the new differential installed and put on 200 miles. It took nearly a month from when we determined we needed to replace it, found a used one which turned out to be junk, found a new one and got it installed. The differential was sold to us as new and the shop that did the swap felt it was. I talked to a lot of great people in this quest and I can't think of a better group of people who cared and truly tried to help.
Thanks again,
Bob
Was wondering how you were making out with that. Glad it finally panned out for you. It must feel real good to be back on the road again... :)
Glad it turned out to be the correct one. Wonder where they got it. Unobtanium.
Chessie, I got it from Neal's Truck Parts in Grand Rapids Mi. They knew what I was looking for and felt they could help and did!
