This Eagle has been sitting for at least a couple of years at the Interstate location in Milwaukee. The asst. service mgr. made a comment to me indicating that it might be for sale. Maybe they have a mechanic's lien? Story is that the bus was used as a mobile tattoo parlor for a while. That's about all I know about the bus, but I'd be willing to do a bit of leg work if anyone has interest. Only posting on the outside chance someone has interest.
Ooh, it's a Model 01, but unfortunately I don't have enough room for any more Eagles. Somebody could use it for parts, if nothing else. The torsilastics on the rear are different than all the other models, and hard to find. Since it is in Wisconsin, there is a chance it has been in salt.
Where specifically in Milwaukee?
It's been on the back lot of Interstate Power Systems for a couple of years. They are technically located in Butler, just SW of Silver Spring and I-45.
I'm not sure of the status of the bus, but the asst. service mgr. made an off-hand comment to me this week that leads me to believe they'd like to be rid of it. I can do a little more checking if anyone is interested.
OK thanks. Can't buy it but I may want to go over there and snap a picture if I get a chance.

Just follow the signs around the right-hand side of the building towards the service entrance. It's parked on the right along the fence as you go through the service gate.
I know where that is now. It used to be known as INLAND DIESEL. I used to go there to get brochures long before the internet. It was scary for me to make up stories just to get the ones I wanted. :)
I took a drive over there today but the fence was closed so no picture. There was a J4500 back there as well as transit bus so not a total loss.
Yeah - they're open to midnight M-F, but only till noon on Saturday. Closed Sundays.
Does anyone know the serial number so I can add it to my list or a contact phone number?

It's located at Interstate Power System, Butler WI. Phone number +1 262-781-7100. Probably best to ask for Phil, the branch manager.
They should sell it,that bus belonged to a tattoo guy in Rogers AR I haven't heard from him or seen in him years probably never will since he owes me,he was on one of the reality channels for a short period traveling across the US boosting to me about it like I gave a s*** about his TV program
My understanding is that they are working with corporate to file for a mechanic's lien on it.

Walter you don't want to go near that 01 it is a rolling junk yard, lol look at blocks on the left corner,if Interstate has over $1500 in labor and parts they are going to lose money

Cliff, don't worry, my tongue was in my cheek. The only parts I see that might be useful are the mirrors and the eagle on the front. The gutter trim is falling off on the passenger side (which can't be a good sign), and the suspension is sitting mighty low. The only solution for this bus might be local scrapping, but even then the scrap prices are pretty low nowadays. In any event, I have enough Eagles, and plenty to do. :o
