Title: MCI MC5 rear access panels
Post by: Dreadnought on September 25, 2019, 10:53:40 AM
I'm in the middle of getting the interior done in my MC5.
A couple of years ago when I met Ted in Wiliams Ca - he indicated that I should have/need access to the gearbox/powertrain of my MC5 from inside and how it would make things easier.
I'm not sure if the access panels are there or are covered up. Now its being renovated - it is the time to make sure that I have access/actually have these panels.

Can someone with a similar bus show me where these panels would be. Preferably with pictures or schematics?

Would very much appreciate it

Thank you

Center below and above that rear step across the back inside the bus. If you can make bigger ones while you are there. Mine are only 12 x 12 and 8 x 8. Mine were under the bed area in back. We have actuator that lifts the bed and pull out beding and unscrew the hatches and there is the top of the motor etc. :D

The Parts Manual likely has a detailed drawing of the frame work back there. In the Body Section?

Happy coaching!
