Hi all,
I am looking for front wheel bearing, race and seal part numbers for a 1956 GMC 4104.
Thank you,
Bob
Okay Bob & Tracy - here is the lowdown... We have a 1953 4104 and performed front bearings & seal replacement in Apr. of 2017 and should be good numbers for your 1956. I found them on eBay (new old stock) & have posted what I paid for each. You'll save a bundle of you can do the same rather than going to a bearing supplier. Here goes: Front inner seal - Timken/National Industrial seal 417507 $19.95. Front outer cup (race) Timken 552A $14.99. Front outer bearing 557S $32.00. Front Inner Bearing 6379 & Front inner cup (race) 6320 both $98.00. Google the numbers, they may show up on eBay or Amazon or somewhere. Good luck. Tell us how you do. Dan

We can't find seal # 417507 as yet but are looking.
No seal but it matches to CR 40078 or GM # 2030123
According to website they are only $6.00 so you can source locally.
Paso One, thank you! I wish we could meet you in Blytheville but we are still in Wisconsin for a week. We will spend the winter in south Florida so may be I can meet Dan and get the parts from him. Thanks again!
