Title: Turn Signal problem
Post by: richardkillmon on August 19, 2019, 05:08:19 PM
Hello,

I have a 1976 MCI 5B Chanlenger
My turn signals worked two weeks ago and now nothing.
I have traced the # 45 wire that supplies power and got lost when the wire went into the main harness.
I have no power at the turn switch on the column and no power on the Hazard switch.
Any ideas on how I trouble shoot the problem?

Thanks

Rick

Find the flasher unit?

Maybe in a clip up under the dash someplace? Left corner?

Schematics? Are you looking for power where there usually is none?

In those days, a decent driver always carried a spare flasher unit, they failed regularly in normal service.

Solid state upgrade is a good busnut choice.

Happy coaching!
