Title: 6v92 throttle assembly
Post by: Astral86 on July 29, 2019, 10:10:41 PM
Hi all I'm currently looking for diagrams of how the throttle assembly goes on a 86 Austral tourmaster coach. Is it a solid linkage and pin or just a simple cable.. Any pic or advice greatly appreciated

Is it manual or automatic? I have air throttle and simply love it with it's light pedal pressure. I have my King Cruise attached to my accelerator pedal and it works well with my Allison automatic. Only minus-doesn't work with no air pressure, but my engine starts just fine without pedal. Just a suggestion to switch. Good Luck, TomC

This is the way they were set up with a air throttle just remove the air pod from the photo and the cable attaches to that arm on the governor cover

Cheers mate I'll check it out I'll have to post a pic asap. To answer TomC question mine is manual with a Detroit V692 silver engine. The throttle  cable that comes into engine  Bay Area and joins to the throttle linkage and high idle governor seems to have been dodged up I'm curious to see how it should be attached. TIA
