Title: Rebuilding air suspension
Post by: TomC on June 02, 2019, 08:40:25 AM
I have an AMGeneral transit 10240B that has a front end suspension much like a GMC with 4 air bags, and the steering gear mounted on the axle. The positioning struts and links are getting worn and I want to get new rubber installed. I'm not too thrilled with the idea of trying this myself.
Does anyone know what bus shop is a good suspension expert. I'm in the Ventura area, but anywhere in So Cal would be fine. The bus still drives just fine. Good Luck, TomC

Rite- Way in Sun Valley.. work on just about anything that's big &rolls.
Lots of one off stuff in there anytime. Maybe do a drive by if convenient .
All about suspension.

You would be much happier with the crisp and solid feel of poly bushings rather than rubber.>>>Dan

Thank you!
But I think it will be situation of what kind of bushings they have.
