Yes, it makes me sad too, but unfortunately, this is not an uncommon occurrence.  When I work with widow's, I go out of my way to try to help wherever I can and work with them personally to try to help them sell their bus.  I don't just list it for them.

What is sad about the deal the widow knows how much was paid for the RV and money spent over the years and looked at the bus as good investment where she could always have a good return on the money, years back she could have but not today in the bus market it is truly sad she has to deal people also looking to skin her

Manual transmissions don't sell well.

They do not sell as fast but if I had my choice, I would take a stick shift over an automatic in a bus any day.  Not in a car or pickup, but in a bus or big truck.  Much easier to climb mountains with.  If you live in Ohio, not so important. :-)

Problem is, kids coming out of school now do not know how to drive them so they are a dying breed.

To be clear, it's a good time to be a bus buyer and the painfully low prices simply reflect the current lack of demand for these old rolling hulks of metal. Nobody forces any seller to sell a bus; the decision is get some money for it and be rid of it or have it sit more getting older and less capable and likely costing some monies out of pocket on a recurring basis.

It is much like any other customized vehicle that returns far fewer dollar than what was "invested".

I'm certain Gary understands the market and communicates honestly what these things realistically fetch today and that figure has very little bearing on the labor and monies poured into it over the years.

It's like anything one plays with ,me and boys have a lot of military vehicles they are a money hole and a deep one, they are fun to play with and will never have a resale value only what they would bring for scrap lol almost the same with a converted bus

I like my Hummvee Dave no one jacks with you  ;D.people need to get the concept right on buses though, some are home to many people and some are for part time use 1 or 2 times a year a big difference. The bus listed would make someone a nice home even with the 6 speed
