Title: What's the proper way to check the oil level in a VS2-8
Post by: Dallas on April 28, 2006, 08:39:05 AM
I've heard different methods for checking the oil level in a VS2-8, but since I don't have a manual for it, I'm not sure.
Can anyone shed some light?
Thanks in advance.

Hmmm.. If you don't see a puddle, It's low? :-\

Sorry.. Seen them but at a distance...
if they are anything like the V730, it's marked on the dipstick (hot level) ( cold level )
usually with engine running.

Check it warm, in neutral, within a couple minutes of shutdown.>>>Dan
