This is a nice unit, in my opinion, but this particular one has been sold.

I still don't have A/C figured out.  I can't do rooftops (too tall, absolutely cannot do) and I don't have "bays" underneath.  Some of these systems on the Dometic website look good but they don't go out of their way to give you SEERs or other efficiency ratings and they don't give amp draws, etc.  I don't have bays but I have a good bit of internal useful space so the unit-type Dometic basement units might work for me.  I'm guessing I'll end up with some kind of mini-split system with one evap system downstairs and two upstairs ... but I dunno.
I'm not far from Lamar Welch so I'll probably have him set up and install a system for me.

Dometic makes an under counter A/C that you do have to cut a vent hole in the side of the bus. Picture a window A/C that does not stick out past the side. Also, Dometic makes both split and all in one A/C's for truckers in 7k, 10k, 14k btu. I just installed the 7k all in one unit in my side compartment on my truck and it kicks out more than enough to cool my single wide sleeper (which is now an office) in my truck. Also has electric heating element. Good Luck, TomC
