Is anyone interested in a Double Decker bus? They make great conversions and vacation homes. If so contact Jerry at 810.243.1786 for more info. He has a few of them to liquidate. If you have converted one already, post some photos here for all of us to see.
Check the overall height-many are 14'6"!
Yeah, go ahead and slap a couple of roof airs on that.lol PSU had one of those in a diesel model. Top speed was probably 50 mph if that. Try to obtain parts for it.
"Try to obtain parts for it."
Isn't that why "JEREMY" is on this board? ;D ;D
Happy to help if needed! Although I'd only be doing the same Google search for suppliers that anyone else could do
Personally I wouldn't want a double-decker BUS as a camper because they are designed for low speed stop-start city centre use and definitely not for touring. But a double-decker COACH - absolutely, bring it on - modern Neoplan double-deckers etc are some of the coolest vehicles on the road in my opinion. But any double-decker is a difficult conversion, with low ceilings on both decks and no possibility of doing a roof raise.

Photo below of the Plaxton Paramount 4000, which is the double-decker version of my own bus - 30 years old now and very cheap to buy:

I remember a story someone else on here told where someone bought an old classic London double deck and brought it over.
He had a good time with it until the engine crapped out and the thing just sat for many years.
On the bright side, I remember some Chicago tour operator repowered some of those with CUMMINS or DETROIT engines with ALLISON transmissions and they were just fine.
I wonder where those NEOPLAN double decker's that they used for tours down at the cape ended up?
Those were beautiful monsters.
Those Neoplan double decker Cape buses were 50ft, 14'6" tall-basically couldn't be driven very many places. Plus being in Florida near the beach, were all rusted badly. Good Luck, TomC
The Neoplan Jumbocruiser is undoubtedly my own favourite - designed I'm sure by someone who watched the movie "The Big Bus" many times as a kid

Might be a little tricky getting in-and-out of campground spaces though.

That's just like mine. Although I removed the grand piano.
These DD buses would be great for an Airbnb. People would love them. This could be used to pay your fuel bus for your other bus.
