Several coaches being auctioned. No ties here, just saw and passing on info. Good luck if you're interested.
Sorry! @ COPART Albuquerque.
Hope you watched it, what's the results?
6 coaches, mid 80's to mid 90's vintage, models 8 to 12's, and a couple 102's, went from $400 to $1450, average of $758, all sold on approval.
wow, if they were in decent shape this kind of pricing continues to depress bus prices, converted or not. I'm planning on attending the auction in Vallejo this Saturday to see how the batch of buses sell.
These were all still seated, fairly clean, charter revenue type rigs. Wish I could have gone.
I doubt the seller lets those go at those prices unless it a financial institution just cutting their loss, they are worth a couple of grand each driving to the local scrap yard.Copart plays games unlike R/B when they sell with no reserve that what you get.I have a good friend that just purchased a 2004 County Coach at a steal with only 22,000 miles,Cummins engine and 3 slides the seller took a beating but let it go
Don't assume you could have gotten any of those at those prices. The ultimate buyer was probably ready to bid higher than he got them for. Typical of any auctions.
"sold on approval" - Approve what?
