Post by: pabusnut on January 10, 2019, 07:26:58 PM
Saw this on the e-place tonight.

standard disclaimer:  I have no interest in this bus whatsoever, but hate for any to go to bus heaven--even ones that have "modifications"

This one was listed on Craigslist Oct. 2018. Tough sell in my opinion with the terrible roof raise.

Hi Guys,
I haven't posted much here recently, but I do read a lot, especially anything 4501. I was finally able to get some pics from the eba// site and I greatly agree with Tom that the roof raise was less than advertised. But then I started looking at it from a somewhat different view. Now there are a lot of if's in the following; if none of the glass is cracked or all bubbled up, and if there are no major dents in any of the fluted siding, there is a lot this old bus has to offer. Now, yes, you would have to have a place to do the disassembly and a place for parts storage, but I think it has a lot of possibilities. It looks like the rear glass is gone, but the upper deck windshields are there and the teardrop side glasses are still in place. Baggage bay doors looks ok, can't remember if the original bumpers were still there. Just thinking......
