Title: Is my inverter workin right
Post by: Fred Mc on August 01, 2018, 04:40:21 PM
Just installed a used Xantrex X-power 1700 inverter. It is putting out 106 volts. Is this ok?

Makes toast in the toaster like a ?hot damn? but I wonder if it will be ok for a tv.

Other than that seems to work fine.

Thx

Frrd

I think those are square-wave inverters, so  meter might show an odd number.  It is probably working fine.  I would not worry about a TV at all, they can usually take in about anything and work fine.  A refrigerator might have an issue sooner or later.

I?m pretty sure my refrigerator won?t care. It?s propane. 😁😁

Propane fridge usually has 12v Dc computer.  Off-grid propane usually 9v battery
