Passenger side was cracked/leaking..new valve from Rome Truck Parts...
Question: where's easiest access to this motor/valve? Outside from the front? Thought I could do it from under the dash but cant get to the top screws from inside, unless I tear the dash apart..?
Simpler to pull the whole motor to change the valve?, and again, from inside or outside?
Thanks
Pull the wiper motor from the exterior, probably needs cleaning anyways
Thank you sir...didnt want to be removing panels if I didnt need to...
See the front 3 slanted panels. Take them off and they are right inside.
Thank you Clifford and Dave!!
Wipers are working!!
110 yesterday, 100 today(outside the bus)...hard to get much done in there demo-wise--glad I acomplished something today!!
mine were leaking BAD would barely move the blades....to get new motors was over a grand so I opted to go with 24v electric conversion kit....best thing i ever did. I used the air line that was for the wipers for my air seat....thats a win win
Rome Truck Parts has new motors for about 329.00 ea I think...surprised they were that high..thats getting close to the 900.00 I saw for electric conversion...Can I ask what you had to spend for your conversion dj?
Thanks
950.00 without the arms. Both 12v electric motors with the wiring already just plug in it together and run a ground and hookup 12volt wire to 12v stud in electric panel. I put in a 10 Amp fuse IIRC. Didn't get the electric water sprayer. It does come with the switches and knobs which replace the ones that are there. 2 speed and independent operation. The arms were 149.00 extra for the pangraph ones. I just used my originals. :)
