Title: MCI 5B 1976 high beam floor switch
Post by: richardkillmon on July 02, 2018, 04:26:37 PM
I have a 1976 MCI 5B challenger - Next to the driver on the floor are two high beam switches 12 inches apart.
From what I tried they both do the same thing, why?

Thanks for some of the answers and I should expand on what I did.
The switches are 12 aches apart front to back and I have clicked both switches and the only thing that happens on both switches is the high beam goes on and off. This is original from the factory.

Variously, you could have high beam, fog light, air horn/electric horn or a pair of transit style turn signals.

What some previous owner has done...? Only imagination is the limiter...

Happy coaching!

Our 4106 had high beam on one and fog lights on the other. Not sure what the MCI had.

On my 72' 5B the front one is for brights and the back one is the air horn.
