We just changed the "Look and Feel" interface on the Forum to make it look more like the theme of the old Forum, and one that we believe is easier to read and not as dramatic. Try using this new Theme and see if you like it better.
You can change your own Theme but then every time we do an upgrade, which will be more frequently now with the new forum and server, your changes may get messed up. If you feel confident you can fix these issues when they arise, then go ahead and change your interface if you wish. Also be aware that if you make changes in your Profile, other things may stop working. But as has been said by System Administrators over and over again in any place you have ever worked, if you mess it up, you are own your own because we have limited staff here at BCM to fix problems you may create.
So again, try using this new theme and if you have comments or concerns, please let us know here. As always we are open to ideas but we are also running on a very tight budget so we can only make incremental changes in the configuration not any major customization.
Thanks for your understanding.
Gary
Well it was blue like the old forum, liked it much better, then had to sign in again and it went back to the dark red/black, which I don't like. lvmci...
Noo. It should still be set for "blue". I'm checking... - Phil
Go to:
Profile>Modify Profile>Look & Layout>
the line"Current theme - XXXXX(change)"
The "(change)" switch is coloured differently - select and choose from themes listed
Thanks Jim. I meant to say that we changed the default for the entire forum to get it off the orange/black with the hard-to-read grey fonts.
:)
