Title: Driver window question
Post by: Jcparmley on June 20, 2018, 02:33:40 PM
Does anyone know if a D series full slide driver window will fit a 102c3?

I was looking at the drivers window and I can't seem to figure out how to remove it.  How did you remove yours?  It dosen't have any screws around the trim like the side windows.

Go sit in a D driver's seat, open that slider, and look in the mirror...

Yeah, the larger opening has an appeal, but all that window framing in the middle of your sight lines is the cost.

Some don't mind, others do.

On my A3 it has the same type of screws like the windows do. I haven't looked at a C3 before but I cant imagine that it would be that much different. Maybe they lock into each other versus having screws hold them together. Worst case would be to try to pry it at the edge and see where it holds versus moves

I never thought of that.  I don't have a way to look at a D coach.  Can anyone post some pics to give me an idea if it would be better or worse?  Thanks

Does anyone know if the C3 side windows will fit in a D coach?
