Title: Forum wonkiness - getting ready for upgrades.
Post by: plyons on June 19, 2018, 10:53:30 PM
Please excuse the service interruptions bus folk.  Getting ready for some software & server upgrades.  It may be a little bouncy over the next couple of weeks.  Going offline for just a few minutes right now.

Thanks for your patience!

As long as there's continuity in this change it will be fine.
It's your board so you have the prerogative to make changes but I have seen so many websites that for whatever reason got the bug to change things and then everything was all putzed up and different where you couldn't find things anymore.
Same holds true after remodeling buildings too. :)

We'll still recognize the board.   ;D

Just a much newer release, same software.  Maybe a few more features.  New hardware, a little faster...  Hopefully good for all!

Kind Regards, Phil

The only thing I see that needs to be changed is the ease of posting pictures without screwing around miniaturizing so they'll fit.
A state or geographical region  listing requirement would be nice.

Replying to PMs seems like it might be a little erratic.

Hey, I just noticed an envelope, e-mail, below posters picture of coach or whatever. Easy to contact them if they have e-mail address in their info. Pays to look closer once in a while. That's probably been there forever.lol

Sending a PM has never been a problem replying through the board has for me,that envelope has always been there for the ones that don't have their E mail address hidden,if hidden then you go through their profile and send it through the board and I understand that.
F/B is a pita but it is easy to message and post photos, this board has a page on F/B so does the BNO.Even I can post photos on F/B it doesn't require any resizing and you post a link it links to you the web site for others to see,it's not for everyone but ok if you watch what info you put out
