Title: What is this valve for
Post by: solardude on May 04, 2018, 10:15:01 PM
After reading more of the maintenance manual, I stumbled across a section that described where the hour meter was for the engine. I wen looking for it, no luck finding a engine hour meter, but I found a valve that I could not figure out what it does..

Anyone recognize this one? It is located just above the reserve oil can in the engine bay.

The bottom looks like a shutoff valve lever. Fuel or air? Follow the metal lines to it's source or termination.

Many had that air valve shut off for the a/c compresser, air cylinder - auto adjust.  And another for again air cylinder adjusting the squirrel fan belt / upper gear box. I cannot tell which side that is though.
Possibly any of these or even routing to air shutters from a thermostat valve.
