The cold front came in with some real big winds last night.
I was kinda trying to get the winter out of this cover...but, Not... I can't seem to find the big pieces...
It has been up a little over 2 years and after the first month it started ripping. so the company
[Shelter King] sent me a new cover under warranty. [that was a year and a half ago]
Oh Well, I'll be hanging the new cover as soon as the cold snap is over.

Nick,
I started using the heavy duty Silver Tarps from the local farm/ag. store.
The tarp that came on our little awning started ripping after about 4 months but we've been using this silver tarp for 3 years now and it's only got maybe 4 little leaks in it where I caught it on something.
Another thought is to look at having your local tent and awning place make you a canopy out of 8.5 to 9.5 oz. per foot canvas.
It will cost a bit, but will last a lot longer than the polyethylene.
Nick,
Glad that it blew away vs putting up a fight and your exterior getting it.
Thats a lot of wind resistance.
You must have that frame anchored down pretty darn good.
I just lost 1/2 of mine(roof piece only) from our recent storms, but it was close to replace time anyway.

Cliff,
There are some pretty serious anchors on that frame. [8 on each side]

The new cover is installed.
My bus is now back in it's cacoon......
Guy's, I went with the factory cover because of the size and fit. [And a comming storm]

Nick,
Sorry to hear of your loss,
I was flying in the area between Cape May and Atlantic City, Sunday morning and did not see the tarp. Suggest a silver replacement easier to locate from the air..... Sorry just kidding.
Glad it is replaced with the oncoming winds and stuff.
Gary
Hi Gary,
It turned out to be a great day on sunday, no wind, great for flying....Great for drapeing a new cover too.
