I took a test spin in the bus tonight to try out the upgraded steering and to try out the silverleaf. I was pulling a grade in 2nd gear and took a picture of my screen (not a real good picture) What should the turbo boost psi be? the silverleaf was showing 30.6 does that sound write? I had the ddec turned up to 370hp and the most the silverleaf would show was 320hp ??? also not registering any manifold temperature, speed or transmission selection ??? I must be missing something, any suggestions are appreciated. Jason

I wasn't able to read the screen. Does it report in Gauge or Absolute?
The silverleaf is more than likely correct. I have friends and my son that can get over 30 lbs, but the most I have been able to read is 27lbs. You need to do a pid test to see if you can read the other things that you want. If you have a ECU 2 on the transmission you won't be able to read the transmission info. Also looks like you are not getting road speed. I think the silver leaf won't read more than 320 on the HP. That is the most I have ever seen.

Azdieselman, Not sure how it reports, How do I tell?
Jack, I just talked to silverleaf and he said if I can get torque and Hp curves from Diesel Control Service then he could make a new file so it will read the correct Hp but as of now 320 hp was a stock setting so that's as high as it will go. And he also said the transmission selector will not work with a B400 it has to be a 3000 or 4000 series ??? He also said I should be getting road speed but I'm not for some reason. I guess I'll have to play with it some more.
Thanks Jason
As you know most of us have raised the HP for the series 50 , but I don't think anyone knows how much. I have mine set with as much fuel as I can get with out too much smoke. It isn't the transmission that gives you the info it is the ECU. If you have a WTEC 3 or later you can get the info. Do you know what ECU yours has?
I like your screen for the Silverleaf, did you come up with that?
All of us would like to have a program that shows more HP, if you come up with it let us know.
Jack
ECU P/N 29524779 05/10/1996 I have DDEC4 the guy at Diesel control that stepped mine up said he has the program saved but would have to load it on a ECM then put it on his dyno to get the info that silverleaf needs so that would be more $$ so he told me to tell them it was set for 375Hp and 1200lb torque at 1200RPM and maybe they could come up with something to get it close. Unless someone else sends him a ECM to bump up I'll probably wait.

What does it read KOEO, (Key On Engine Off)?
Azdieselman, Every thing reads 0 with the KOEO other than the water temp and it reads around 70 degree witch is the temperature the shop is.
Jason
OK, That's gauge pressure. You had approx 30 psi of boost.
Ok, it showed 30.6 pulling the hill, I wasn't sure if that was normal psi
Thanks Jason
