Title: What steering hub adapter will I need for my 1984 mci 9
Post by: bronson on March 24, 2018, 10:49:46 AM
I was at the mid America truck show in Louisville yesterday and found a few steering wheels I liked. No one could answer what hub I would need. Anyone know what adapter I would need or what manufacturer would interchange? Most were manufactured by steering creations. They were there and recommended me to one of their distributors. They weren't very helpful. Figuring if I call Iowa 80 or raneys or 4states they won't have a clue either. Thanks

I would remove your wheel and measure the diameter and number of splines of the steering shaft. That is the only way to know for sure.

I would recommend VIP- Vehicle improvement products. They have been around for years and support the rv industry. They list adapters for almost all our coaches, and many wheel designs.

Keep in mind that some spoke designs can block viewing some of your gages in normal driving. Most coach gage placements were made with the traditional three spoke wheel in mind.
