I have a 12.5 kw Kohler generator with Yanmar 4tn82e diesel power. The electric lift pump is dead and was looking to see if anyone had a reasonable replacement option as the Yanmar direct replacement is just under $600. There look to be return lines to the tank in the current routing but I don't want to put a pump that is too high volume and just circulates and aerates the fuel. There are hard lines with banjo fittings now that I can work around or replace if needed. Summit has a pump with 15gph flow and 2 to 4 psi. Any help would be appreciated.
Just go to AutoZone, O'REILLY'S or similar and they have a low pressure pump with lifetime warranty.
You can buy it here 1-818-574-3835 for under 50 bucks John Deere uses the same engine and pump
I have had good luck with these mr gasket type pumps.

It may help in discussion a bit further if a tank to pump and engine measurement is known.

Here's another. Cheap enough to carry a spare.
