As the winter approaches I dropped my beloved motor coach off to an outfit in Indiana to get renovated.
I'm dead excited.
This is what I'm getting done
Change Carpet in the living room and bedroom area. (Carpet Provided by you)
-Install Tile in the Kitchen and Bathroom (Need to choose a tile)
-Ceiling Fabric Overlay (Need to choose a fabric)
-Low Glo lighting installed along ceiling
-Install rear wall mirrors
-Install new probes on black tank
I may increase scope and do some more things.
The bus is currently solid- 'no frills' on the inside.
I was shocked when they asked me if I'd be willing to sell it to them. I said I couldn't really- have too much invested in it but I would help them look for another older bus like an MC7 or the like- if they really were serious. I'm very flattered
Not wanting to criticize the outfit doing the work, but hope you got realistic firm estimate of total cost for job.

When I spent an extended time in the area I visited 4 RV renovation places. They're all super busy and 3 of them didn't get back to me with a quote. One of the places was a successful business and was bought out and became 'corporatised'. The founder of that place started a new business recently. Hes the one that I struck up a deal with after a few recommendtions. I clarified that 'scope creep' was not acceptable
