Title: Fuel Sending Unit
Post by: birdarchitect26 on October 19, 2017, 10:04:54 AM
I have the 1973 MC7. 179 gal tank. Is there a way to find which sending unit I will need to replace the stocker.

They supply parts for school buses.
I would try Luke at US Coach, Mohawk bus parts, or this place:

   Hi;
       Do you have a sending unit in the tank now?    Why do you need to
       replace it?  Maybe the previous owner can tell you where he got it.
       Has a gauge been installed?
       I have a capacitance type sending unit in my coach.  The float type
       bounce around too much and will sink
       Believe I got mine from Centoid many years ago.  Don't know if they
       are still around.

I DO like that catalog, although I didnt see any sending units. They may have some new bushings I could use!

Tanks Chessie

I'll research those other places, prob just keep the tank at least quarter full for now  :)
