MCI102D3 has been sitting because of health problems. Got it started and it runs fine but door will not open and close using air. Moves fine by hand but push button to close door and nothing happens. What do I need to check??
Just below the right side of the dash is a little lever with a red ball on the end, make sure it is pulled all the way out. That is the door air release lever.

Thank you.
plus inside the electrical panel under the drivers window there is a pull cable to manually open the door and some times it gets out of adjustment
can't remember if it should be in or out
dave
Will check that also Thanks

This is the emergency door release. It could also be above the door.

NOT ON AN MCI!
That is the release for the air cylinder under the dash. And yes the little red knob on top of the door on that model MCI is the secondary latch/release but the knob over the door has NOTHING to do with while the air cylinder is not working, it is 100% the little 2" lever w/red knob under the dash that releases air to the cylinder on an MCI.
:D BK :D
The knob above the door is a secondary latch that activates when in gear.
