Left home (just west of Milwaukee) this morning and pulled into the Walmart in beautiful Ottumwa IA about 6pm.
Stopped for an hour or so at the Iowa 80 truck museum and 'worlds largest truck stop. Who could resist.
So far so good. Averaging about 7-1/2 mpg, better than expected. Generator is working, and we used our Jennair grill for the first time. Who says you can't grill at Walmart... Just have to do it indoors.
Only problem is that the front seats are really not that comfortable. First thing on our list for spring.
Tomorrow it's on to Lawrence KS. We've got a site with 50 amp hookups for two night while we visit family.
