Title: SOLVED: 1998 MCI MC12 Blower - No Power...
Post by: k9disc on September 12, 2017, 02:38:27 PM
Hey there, looking for a quick answer I'm unable to find in my manual...

My AC/Heat blowers are not activating - a tool was found lodged in there after the floor repair - I am getting no power to the motor but cannot find a fuse or breaker that activates it.

My manual is older, and it doesn't seem to apply on this problem.

Any help would be appreciated.

Solution:
Press red reset button on roof of drivers side front luggage bay -- WHILE COACH IS RUNNING.
Might need to spin squirrel cage motor a bit beforehand.

On the MC9 and earlier models, there is a circuit breaker in the box mounted to the ceiling (underside of the floor) just to the drivers side of the mechanical tunnel in the front bay. Red reset button. May be more than one breaker.

There are several breakers there, only 2 have buttons evaporator and condensor... It's running now!

I hit them before, but not while the coach was running. Switched on the coach AC and, boom, it popped right on.

Thanks for making me check on it again, gumpy.

I did jump the motor to check it, so it spun a bit before this particular reset. Might have had something to do with it as well.

Thanks again!

Peace~
